  3. The category  BOOKS, PUBS, INFO-PROVIDERS  is another
  4. category destined to grow in the near future. We have
  5. attempted to include  as many newsletters and magazines that
  6. feature regular material on VR as  possible. Books, information
  7. compendiums and other publications are also featured.
  8. Unfortunately, it would be difficult to list every piece of
  9. material or book available that is VR related without filling this
  10. entire guide. There have been so many papers presented at
  11. conferences and at seminars that a listing of them all would be
  12. prohibitive. These materials  are, however, key to a
  13. comprehensive study of the VR field, its historical derivations
  14. and future predictions of direction.

  16. Each year, new publications that focus on VR related
  17. development are springing up. Some of them will evolve to
  18. become good, solid references that many industry enthusiasts
  19. will read religiously, others will fade into virtual oblivion. We
  20. encourage anyone with journalistic skills and a good nose for
  21. news to begin such a publication. We will support  their efforts
  22. wholeheartedly , as long as they appear to support ours!

  24. Several information sources exist that contain very well
  25. researched, comprehensive lists of VR related material and
  26. where it can be found. These services should be listed in this
  27. category. If you or your organization have a VR related
  28. publication or informational product, please send us a copy for
  29. evaluation and for consideration to be listed in this category in
  30. upcoming guide revisions and other VR publications.
